ENTERTAINING TIPS The whole idea of entertaining is to have fun! We do! Make entertaining fun and interesting. Compliment your foods with a tablescape that has visual appeal. It was "An Afternoon en Provence" in the lovely countryside of Lakeside, Michigan. We used many collectables, not only as serving pieces but to also 'dress the set'. Salade Nicoise on French platters ~ Iced Vichyssoise in demitasse set in antique copper tubs ~ Tarte Flambee with Red Onion Confit in bread bowls ~ Pedestals of cheeses & grapes surrounded by strawberries on a bed of kale. Many earthen pitchers were filled with fresh herbs and tucked amongst the display of foods. |
